Karitaki is probably the most interesting plant on Earth. Ego is called "the king of all medicines." It is said that when the healers of the East hear about this plant, their body is filled with a thrill of delight. "Harytaki" literally means "plant that steals disease". In Ayurvedic canons, it is said that haritaka can get rid of a hundred ailments. In the treatise "Madana-pala-nighantu" Haritaka is compared to a mother: "As a mother takes care of a child, Haritaka takes care of a person. But the mother sometimes gets angry, but Haritaka will never harm the one who receives her..." In Ayurvedic and Tibetan medical treatises, you can find many legends about origin of haritaka. It is believed that there are seven types of haritaka - these are seven drops of nectar that fell to Earth from the mouth of Vishnu (Vsevyshnego). Another text says that the Haritaka forest grew on the site of the love games of Varuna (god of water) and Bhuma (goddess of the Earth).

Although all parts of the plant have a healing effect (roots eliminate bone diseases, trunk - muscles, bark - skin, branches - blood vessels, leaves - hollow organs), Ayurvedic doctors mainly use the fruits of the plant, as they normalize the function neuroendocrine system and all vital organs.
