Natural Indian paint dyed black.

Composition 100% from the leaves of Indigofera Tinctoria or simply Indian black henna.

Indications: for any type of coloring hair.

100% natural dye from indigo leaves from the plantations of Rajasthan, India. It is used for hair coloring and restoration. It is the most popular natural hair dye along with henna. This is a high-quality, environmentally friendly product that gives rich and rich color and health to the hair. It is a natural vegetable paint containing biologically active substances and vitamins.

Natural indigo is a natural means for dyeing hair in dark tones (from light brown to black). It is recommended (especially if there is gray hair) to use in combination with henna.

Effect:

  • strengthens and nourishes hair, prevents hair loss,

  • makes hair thick, lush, smooth and silky, gives it volume,

  • moisturizes the scalp, eliminates dandruff, promotes hair growth.

Cautions:

  • the resulting hair color cannot be accurately determined, as when using chemical dyes. It depends on the initial color of the hair, its structure, thickness and time of dyeing.

    Method of use:

    • mix the necessary amount of indigo powder with hot water to a creamy state. Mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps,

    • cool down a little and apply evenly to clean, dry hair and especially carefully to the roots of the hair,

    • put on a plastic cap and wrap your head with a towel,

    • leave the paste on your hair for 2-4 hours, and then rinse your hair thoroughly with running water until pores, until the water flowing from them becomes absolutely clean.

    • after dyeing the hair, you can make a mask: when the hair is dry, prepare a slurry of colorless henna and apply it to the hair for 40 minutes, then wash it off with warm water, the mask helps to strengthen and deepen the color, shine and conditioning of the hair,

    • 3 days after dyeing indigo shows its color and the hair darkens, during this time you should not wash your hair with shampoo, soap or other chemicals.

Simultaneous dyeing (mixing) henna and indigo

    • a faster method of dyeing is not enough if you do not have enough time for separate hair dyeing. If you dye the gray hair with henna and indigo, the hair will be better and evenly colored. When mixed in different proportions, shades from light blond to black are obtained,

    • dilute henna with boiling water (90 degrees), constantly stirring the mixture until it becomes a thick paste without lumps. Let it infuse for 10-15 minutes in a steam bath. Add hot water to indigo and mix to the consistency of a thin puree. Add the indigo paste to the cup of henna,

    • the indigo must be used immediately. Mix the indigo paste right before using the mixture. Do not add lemon to indigo. You can make different shades of dark color by mixing indigo and henna in different proportions (1/1, 1/3, 2/3). The more indigo, the darker the hair color will be,

    • wash your hair and dry it. Part the hair and apply the mixture very thickly to the very roots of the hair,

    • put on a polyethylene cap, clean the hair growth line and ears from the mixture,

    • leave the mixture on the hair for 2-4 hours, and then wash it off,

    • the color will be established for 3 days. At first, a greenish tint will appear, but it will disappear when the indigo oxidizes,

    • after indigo dyeing, apply colorless henna paste to clean hair. It will soften the hair and deepen the resulting hair color.

    Separate henna and indigo dyeing

    • wash your head and dry it. Comb your hair thoroughly. Put on gloves and dilute the henna with hot water to a thin paste. Densely cover all the hair with henna up to the scalp. Apply henna until all the hair is covered with the paste,

    • clean the hairline and ears from the stuck paste. Put on a polyethylene cap, and wrap a towel on top. Leave the paste on the hair for 2 hours,

    • after 2 hours, rinse the henna thoroughly with running water without shampoo, and dry the hair,

    • mix the indigo powder with hot water to the consistency of sour cream and immediately start the process of applying the indigo paste (do not wait for it to start giving color),

    • separate the hair into sections and apply the indigo mixture to the scalp itself. Indigo paste has a grainy structure and is more difficult to apply to hair than henna,

    • when the paste is abundantly applied, put on a polyethylene cap, wipe the indigo from the skin and wrap your head with a towel. Leave the indigo on the hair for 1 hour,

    • then wash the indigo off the hair with running water. If you see a greenish tint, don't worry. It will disappear after 2-3 days when indigo oxidizes,

    • sometimes gray hair is resistant to dyeing, then you will have to repeat the procedure once more or leave henna and indigo on the head for a longer time,

    • after dyeing indigo, it is recommended to apply a paste from Bestsvetna to the hair for 30 minutes to soften the hair, condition it and deepen the color henna

    Obtaining different colors and shades:

    • red-brown color: prepare a mixture of 2 parts henna and 1 part indigo,

    • dark brown color: prepare a mixture of 1 part henna and 2 parts indigo,

    • very dark color: 1 part of henna and 4 parts of indigo,

    • copper color: 4 parts of henna and 1 part of indigo,

    • black color: first apply henna to the hair and wait for 1 hour, then wash and dry the hair. Then apply indigo and wait for 30 minutes (for blond hair), 1.5 hours (for brown hair) or 3 hours (for black hair),

    • more “cool” shades of color: mix 1 part of Amla and 3 parts of henna, then mix them with water into a paste, after 10 minutes add indigo. Then proceed to dyeing.
