In Gaudí Vaishnava theology, Krishna appears as an incarnation of God and Radha as his eternally beloved gopi cowherd girl, as the primordial female incarnation of God, the source of all the gopis participating in the rasa dance and other games. In relation to Krishna, Radha is seen as the supreme goddess who controls Krishna by the power of her love. Krishna is described as so beautiful that he conquers the whole world with her beauty, but Radha enchants even him and therefore occupies a higher position.
