Shri Ganesha

 

The son of Shri Parvati, created by Shri Parvati from the element of earth, Shri Ganesha is a child with the head of an elephant. He is the embodiment of innocence, an uncompromising and steadfast defender of Mother Kundalina (Gaura). It is He who informs the Kundalini that it is time to awaken, and it is His anger that generates heat in the sympathetic nervous system if an unauthorized person tries to raise the Kundalini. He is worshiped as the Destroyer of obstacles standing in the way of Kundalini's ascent and spiritual development.

This supreme deity embodies four qualities - purity, wisdom, innocence and devotion to God. Through Shri Ganesha, the worship of the ego of the Mother - Shri Parvati - is carried out, however, He does not forgive activities against the Mother and punishes such people. This Deity also monitors the birth, growth and development of children, being himself an eternal child.

The wisdom of Shri Ganesha - the wisdom of the heart - is the ability to perceive the true meaning of the deeds and words of others (i.e. perceive what is in their hearts). In children, this ability is present naturally, it is very difficult to deceive them. Shri Ganesha is an eternal divine child, and therefore He loves to play and have fun. He is full of energy, joy and love.
