Colourless Ayurvedic Henna is an environmentally friendly natural product obtained from the Lawsonia plant by grinding its dry stalks into a powder. Unlike ordinary henna, which dyes hair red, and is obtained from the leaves of the same plant, colorless henna does not change the color of hair, but at the same time has no less useful properties, especially with the addition of natural plants (amla, neem, bringaraj, shikakai). Using colorless henna for hair, you can significantly improve their appearance, structure and general condition. Colorless henna for hair is a natural laminate. It penetrates deep into the hair scales, clogs them and smoothes them. Unlike other natural remedies, you can evaluate the effect of henna after the first use. A simple mask made of colorless henna
What you will need:
Take henna according to the length of the hair: up to 50g to the shoulders, 75g to the shoulder blades, from 100g below the shoulder blades.
Warm water - from 70 to 80 degrees.
Two containers - one for diluting the mask, the other for hot water.
Painting brush.
Shower cap, bag or cling film for wrapping the head.
Towel to insulate the mask.
Preparation of the mixture:
Pour the required amount of water with water, stir and cover with a lid. The consistency of the mixture should resemble liquid sour cream. Pour boiling water into the second container and place the cup with the mask. This is done so that the henna does not cool down during steaming.
After 20 minutes, the mask can be applied to the hair. The method of application is the same as when using any store-bought paint. That is, you start from the top, separate row by row with a comb and coat the roots. Distribute the remaining mixture with your hands along the entire length of your hair. Then roll your hair into a ball, secure it with a hairpin and cover it with a film (as an option, a shower cap or a bag). Put a towel on top to keep warm.
You can keep colorless henna from 20 minutes to several hours. When calculating the time, it is necessary to remember that the mask made of colorless henna is slightly drying. To avoid burning dry hair with henna, wash it off earlier than from oily hair.
You do not need to use shampoo when washing off the mask. Henna in itself is an excellent natural shampoo, it rids the hair of sebum and other impurities (you can simply wash your hair with a weak solution of colorless henna: 2 tablespoons per 1 liter of boiling water).
In order to completely wash the herbal rub from your hair, do not spare water. The last grains of the mask can be removed by applying a rinse-off balm.
How to use: rub the cream on problem areas 2-3 times a day. In case of contact with eyes, wash them immediately with water. For external use only!

2. Using colorless henna, is it possible to lighten hair?
No. White henna is used for lightening. Unfortunately, this remedy has nothing to do with the Lawsonia plant, it contains only chemical components. Those who risked using it complain about burnt hair.
3. Is it possible to use a strengthening mask made of henna to care for dyed, lightened, chemically curled or highlighted hair?
For three months after any of these procedures - categorically not. Not a single master will give you a guarantee of how colorless henna will behave on your hair when combined with chemical agents.
