Natural henna is one of the oldest cosmetic products. Henna designs are applied to different areas of the skin.
How to use: the selected area of the skin must be degreased before applying henna. Pour the necessary amount of henna powder into a small dish, dilute it with warm water and mix it to a homogeneous consistency. Henna can be applied using a brush, a cone, or a sharp stick. Before use, check the reaction to sensitivity! (more detailed instructions on the package)
Natural henna is one of the oldest cosmetic products. As a rule, henna designs are applied to the feet, ankles, palms and forearms. The ornaments are very beautiful and elegant. It is also used as a natural hair dye with useful properties that improves the structure of hair, gives it natural shine and splendor, eliminates dandruff, nourishes split and damaged hair. It also normalizes the work of the sebaceous glands and stops the process of hair loss.
Hair care: dilute the required amount of henna with warm water (60-70 ° C) and stir until thick sour cream. It is recommended to cook in ceramic or plastic dishes, but do not use metal ones. The method of application is the same as when using any store-bought paint. That is, you start from the crown, separate row by row with a comb and smear the roots. Distribute the remaining mixture with your hands along the entire length of your hair. Then curl your hair into a ball, secure it with a bobby pin and wrap it with a film on top (as an option, a shower cap or a bag). Put a towel on top to keep warm. Depending on the desired color intensity, henna should be left on the hair for at least 30 minutes. up to 3 hours. At the first dyeing, we recommend checking the intensity of the color on a separate strand of hair. After coloring the hair, wash it thoroughly without using shampoo (the color of the dye will fully develop within 48 hours). The conditioner will help remove henna residues from the hair.
Methods of preparing tattoo paste.
The main advantage of a henna tattoo is that it is temporary, and after a while it comes off by itself. This is a solution for those who do not want to make a permanent tattoo or have not yet decided on it.
The second huge plus of such a tattoo is that it is absolutely harmless, except for rare cases of allergies. By the way, allergic reactions to henna are more common in people who also suffer from an allergy to strawberries.
Henna tattoo can be done at home with improvised means. To do this, you need to be very attentive to the preparation of pasta and do not be afraid to try yourself as an artist. And last but not least: henna tattoo procedure is completely painless and even pleasant. This is a relaxing and meditative activity that will surely bring you joy. If your first attempt turned out to be unsuccessful, do not despair. Take henna powder (preferably special, for painting on the body) and sift it several times through a fine sieve. Henna should have a uniform consistency so that the small details of the drawing look clearer. Pour the sifted henna with lemon juice and stir until it becomes a gruel. Wrap the container with the paste in cellophane and leave it for a day. This is necessary so that the color will be more intense and last longer.
Additional components.
In order for the pattern to turn out darker, you can add a little basma or ground coffee.
Add a spoonful of sugar to the henna - this will help the mixture stick better on the skin.
If desired, you can add a drop of your favorite essential oil.
Bring the mixture to a consistency convenient for application. It should not be too thick and not too liquid. The mixture is transferred into a cone for drawing (syringe bag).
Self-made syringe bag.
A syringe bag is easy to make yourself. For this, a dense and durable plastic bag is needed. It is convenient to use packaging film for gifts and flowers. The optimal size is 20 x 16 cm. Roll up the sheet of film with a cone ("ring"), and for reliability, seal it well with tape or plaster along all the seams and along the edge. Two-thirds of the resulting syringe bag is filled with paste using a teaspoon. The upper edge must be bent several times and fixed with adhesive tape.
A hole is pierced with a needle at the lower edge of the bag. Through this hole, the henna will fall on the body to create a pattern.
Composition: natural Indian henna (from Rajasthan).
Contraindications: individual intolerance to components.
