The main herbal ingredients of Takzema and their pharmacological activity:
Curcuma longa (Turmeric): Curcumin from Curcuma longa has been shown to protect normal human keratinocytes from damage by pyroxanthine/xanthine oxidase. The most detailed studies of the use of curcumins have shown that they exhibit anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-infective activity. Curcumin inhibits the secretion of IL-5, GM-CSF and IL-4 in a concentration-dependent manner. The results of the studies showed that curcumin can potentially affect allergic diseases by inhibiting the release of cytokinins that affect the function of eosinophils and the synthesis of IgE.
Azadiracha indica (Him): Inhibits DMBA-induced skin carcinogenesis in mice. Glutathione (GSH) is the basis and activates glutathione-containing antioxidant enzymes, namely glutathione peroxidase (GPx) and glutathione reductase (GR), significantly increasing in the skin tissues of all groups of mice compared to the control group.
Emblica officinalis (Amla): Antioxidant. Amla helps protect the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals, non-radical damage and transient metal-induced oxidative stress. It has been shown that Neem, Manzhysta and Turmeric statistically lead to the suppression of reactive oxygen species (ROS) from polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNL).
