Features of taking drugs containing Guggul:
- It is not recommended to take drugs containing guggul during pregnancy, lactation, and diseases that are affected by changes in the hormonal background, because guggul may have the properties of an estrogen hormone in the body. For the same reason, it is impossible to take drugs that contain guggul together with drugs that contain the hormone estrogen or stimulate its production.
- In case of disorders of the thyroid gland, drugs containing guggul can be taken only after individual consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor.
- You should not take guggul for 2 weeks after surgery, as the risk of bleeding increases when taking it.
- When taking high doses Guggula can cause such side effects: nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pains, headaches. Guggul can cause an allergic reaction manifested by skin itching.
