Emblica (lat. Emblica officinalis, syn. Phyllanthus emblica) is a fruit tree that belongs to the genus Phyllanthus and to the llantaceae family. The plant has many other names, such as Amla, Amalaki, Myrobalan gray, Indian gooseberry, Phyllanthus emblica.
The fruits have a diuretic (diuretic) effect and are a mild laxative. To enhance the diuretic effect of phyllanthus emblica, its juice should be mixed with raisins and honey.
