Nirgundi is a large aromatic shrub, the name of which translates as "protecting against diseases". Nirgundi oil is used in oriental medicine. It is especially recommended to use this oil in the treatment of osteoarthritis. Special enzymes in the plant stimulate the appearance of new cells. Studies also prove that nirgundi oil has an anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effect.
Traditionally, nirgundi oil is used for inflammations in cartilage or joints, to restore cartilage and bone tissue, to protect joint tissues from oxidative processes. It can also be used as a prophylactic for colds or coughs.
Nirgundi oil is indicated for the following conditions:
