Tulsa, or tulas, is the Ayurvedic name of holy basil, a shrub from the Yasnotkovy family. In Ayurvedic medicine and cosmetology, tulsa is used very widely and is considered one of the main medicinal plants, being included in the "golden row" of Ayurveda. In skin care for the face and body, tulsa powder is used as an antioxidant and rejuvenating agent. It helps speed up skin cell renewal processes and neutralize the harmful effects of free radicals, thus slowing down the aging process and restoring youth to the skin. Also, tulsa powder has a tonic effect, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, a protective effect against infections and the ability to eliminate irritation and redness. In hair care, tulsa activates blood flow to the hair bulbs and provides them with intensive nutrition - this allows you to stimulate hair growth and fill them with vitality. Method of use.
To prepare the mask: 1 tsp. l. dilute the powder with water to obtain a paste. Apply the mixture to the necessary area of the skin, for example, the face, neck, décolleté, hands, scalp or hair. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes as a mask, then wash it off with warm water. If necessary, wipe the skin with tonic and apply a nourishing cream.
To prepare the decoction: pour 1 tbsp. l. powder with water (500 ml), bring to a boil, boil for 3 minutes. Leave to infuse for 3-5 hours. Strain.
To prepare the tincture: pour 1 tbsp. l. powder with warm water (500 ml) and leave overnight. Strain. Store in the refrigerator for no more than 2-3 days. Use for washing, wiping skin, rinsing hair after washing. If necessary, make lotions on problem areas of the skin.
